Now we do not advise people to do a funeral themselves. There are a few traps, and, in the opinion of the writer, the skill-set of a good celebrant is obviously preferable. However, if this is the path you wish to take then why not get a few clues from a book that is simple, straight and clear. Dally Messenger's Ceremonies and Celebrations (4th Edition) published by Hachette Livre contains five full example funeral ceremonies. (Chapters 10, 11, and 12.) It also contains helpful suggestions and a range of excellent readings and quotes.
